Helly Helbrecht (Owner of HELBRECHT optics) has been the trusted eyewear supplier for motorcycle clubs since 1992 and is a scene veteran.
To mention Helly "himself" in connection with glasses for motorcyclists would be like carrying coals to Newcastle or bringing Harley to Milwaukee - Helly is indeed THE inventor of the "biker goggles." As the descendant of a family business in the optical industry active since 1966 in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany), he was one of the first to consider the specific eyewear needs of motorcyclists and started his own venture in 1992, initially only trading sunglasses.
With "Helly Bikereyes," the breakthrough was achieved, not only within the scene but also in product tests: Winner of sunglasses tests at MOTORRAD, with four models among the top five. Nowadays, Helly equips not only motorcyclists but also hunters, anglers, and sports enthusiasts of all kinds; reading glasses, blue light glasses - there is hardly a type of eyewear that Helly doesn't offer, all available with custom prescription lenses.
